Rally Housing Arrangements

With approximately 300,000 people coming to Sturgis each Rally, you have two options for getting a hotel within 30 miles of Sturgis if you wait to find one: slim and none. Keep in mind that an easy and scenic 30-minute drive in the off-season often becomes a nail-biting, bumper to bumper 1-1/2 hour drive (at least twice a day) during the Rally. A rested vendor is a moneymaking vendor, so stay as close as you are able to the center of the Rally, your site, and your merchandise. The best housing is wherever you do not have to drive and that is a few blocks away from your vending site.

We can provide assistance to you in finding the following rally accommodations at no additional fee to you if you are a vendor on our site. Check your accommodation needs below:

	No Facilities: (Shower and bathroom if you’re lucky; shared by many you do not know)
	Tent Space: (Sturgis average of $25.00 / person / day) People come and go all night, you hear every motorcycle, and can’t protect your stuff.
	Full Facilities: (Prices escalate dramatically in August) (Showers, bathrooms, separate beds, kitchen, living room, several people to a room, TVs, outside relaxation area, full appliances, washer/dryer, internet, phone jacks, etc.)
	Bed Space: (Sturgis average of $120.00 / person / day) Note: Buyer beware. If you do not have enough people to fill a room, you will not be able to control who is placed in that room with you. That could lead to very interesting arrangements for you and an adventure that you will talk about for years to come.
	Private Room: (Sturgis average of $1200.00 / room / Rally week) Note: With a private room, you can generally have up to 4 people in the same room. This is a much better option than bed space.
	Private Apartments: (Sturgis average of $2500.00 / apartment / week) Note: Contain private kitchen and bathroom and living area for each bedroom.
	Private Home: (Sturgis average of $6000.00 / home / Rally week) Note: It is not uncommon to rent a home 30 miles away or more, requiring a long drive to get to the home. The average listed here is for seven days of the actual Rally. Look for a home you can rent for the time period before, during, and after the Rally to allow for set up, takedown, and a mini-vacation for you and your staff.
